AMA Transcript — 22nd May, 2pm UTC

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:01]
Hi everybody and welcome to the DBK AMA

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:01]
If the fire alarm goes off its not a drill, make your way to the nearest exit calmly 😃

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:02]
So thanks to everyone for coming

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:02]
I would like to introduce the Founder and project leader of Dbook, Rigi

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:02]
Say hi Rigi, don’t be shy 😊

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:03]
Hi @JimmyRinse . Thanks for hosting this, appreciate it!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:03]
please could you tell everyone a little about yourself and your background in crypto in particular

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:04]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Alright sure!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:05]
Well, this is not the first time for me running my own startup. Things are quite different now as compared to a few years ago, with Defi popping up and so on.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:06]
So yea, I left my previous startup after spending almost 3 years there since 2016, and took the last one year off and decided to work on Dbook after some rest 😂

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:07]
nice, so how long has dbook been an idea of yours?

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:07]
you started for real in january right?

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:09]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Actually I’ve really wanted to do this for a long time, when it comes to decentralized casino and prediction platform, but, I was always lacking a few pieces to a complete puzzle.

I took some time on June/July last year to plan out the thing finally thanks to Covid, and started some minor developments and r&d on October.

We managed to get a basic MVP out on January, and went ahead to show the world, lols

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:10]
so now you have decided to lauch using an IDO, why did you wait until now? I assume it is because you are now ready?

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:12]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, we actually still had quite a bit to do on January, and with the lack of response then, we decided to just continue building then. I knew this thing would work, so, had a discussion with my partners in this, and we decided to move ahead nonetheless. 😊

We’re very close to our full product now, and even managed an upgrade after some testing the last few months

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:13]
awesome, so for those who may have just joined or not done too much research could you give a brief description of your project

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:13]
Yea sure.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:14]
Dbook has 2 sides to it. One arm on our casino operations running on Telegram, and the other the DAO arm, where $DBK token holders will be able to make decisions for Dbook as a community, and also be able to receive profits generated from our operations!

Let me show a quick inforgraphic here if I may @JimmyRinse

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:15]
[ Photo ]
Here you go!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:15]
sounds interesting and quite original, so at its core you will be running casino based games initially through telegram

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:16]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea that’s right. So something new for many people I believe

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:16]
definately and not a platform i’ve heard of used in this way!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:17]
so to make all this happen I assume you are either superman or you had some help along the way, do you have a team helping you?

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:20]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea of course we had a team. We started with 3 core team members including myself. We have a core dev who helped us greatly with the protocol design and contributed greatly in the development.

We have Botsage with us as well. He’s very knowledgeable in the bots and games development, and also in the crypto development side as well.

This is one of the smallest team I’ve worked with, but, it’s definitely the most efficient.

Of course, it won’t be possible without the support of our community now and then to make it easier as well, by testing our products and protocol, giving feedbacks and so on.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:21]
thats good, so you managed to cover every base as far as skillset goes!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:23]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Well, when it comes to skillset, I think it’s very important that I give credit to the community as well, especially some of the community manager who’s been with us all these while, and some of them even volunteered as our fund guardians for the community.

It was really fun with them around, which made the tough times easier, lol

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:23]
it sounds like the community plays a big part of what you do and is integral to the running and evolution of the project

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:26]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yes, that’s right. The community played a huge part in our results today, and this will continue as the community will gain a much bigger role than before after this IDO is concluded!

We’re here to create a project, that can be shared with everyone!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:27]
awesome, so moving on, now a lot of people will want to ensure their investment is in as safe a place as possible

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:27]
as far as audits go, have you had any done to this point?

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:30]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea sure. Well, at this moment, we’re really short of funds to get things going. But we managed to get Solidity.finance to audit our $DBK token contract at least before we go on IDO.

https://solidity.finance/audits/DBook/

We’re lucky that they’ve been kind to us for giving us a big discount(thanks to our codes being original and not another fork). So, we’ll be going back to them after this IDO to get the rest of the protocol audited in the near future. 😊

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:31]
ok that will reassure people, as far as you personally go, have you had any audits and can people find information about you?

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:33]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
The team and myself decided to go anonymous when we started Dbook. That’s because of the nature of our operation, which involves gambling, can be very sensitive in some jurisdictions in different parts of the world.

We’re happy to create a decentralized space for others to use, but we want to take care of ourselves at the same time.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:34]
yea i can understand that and im sure everyone else can understand

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:35]
Yea, Besides, I do believe that we’ve created a very transparent protocol for the community, and so, it seems fair for us to be able to retain our anonymity.

**also, we’ll be doxxed by CrossPad before the IDO ///

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:35]
so with new projects there inevitably are a lot of questions around so called rug pulls, i believe you have a solution which should ensure anyone thinking of investing would have their minds put at rest, because the tokens themselves are very safe

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:37]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, this part is actually very exciting. We’re allowing our community members to volunteer themselves as our fund guardians!

So, we have a DbookDAO Treasury, powered by Gnosis Safe. Gnosis Safe is widely used in many DAOs these days to manage their DAO assets.

And so, to go a step further, our fund guardians holds a key to the DbookDAO Treasury as well!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:40]
The rule decided was:

5 keys to be available for DbookDAO. 2 to be held by the team and myself. While 3 others, will each be held by each Fund Guardian.

In order for a transaction, or withdrawal from the DbookDAO Treasury, 4 keys will be required to sign on the transaction to make sure it goes through.

So in this case, the team won’t have access to any assets, even the funds that we’ll receive from the IDO in the next few days. Fund access will only be possible, if the operation is supported by the fund guardians.

Fund guardians should only act on behalf of the community in those cases, to protect their own investments, as well as others in the community.

All fund guardians are doxxed as well, as per the request of the community when we held a voting session a while back.///

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:42]
that sounds about as safe as you can get, i assume as this is a DAO operation that these things would be voted on surrounding the reasons why the funds are needed and the amount etc

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:42]
its great that the community gets to play such a pivitol role as well

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:44]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea. Maybe some of the fund guardians can share their experience here as well!

We implemented the DbookDAO Treasury when we started collecting the airdrop tax from the community, for those who wish to receive their airdrop $DBK later.

But yea, this is our way of really letting the community be in charged, and considering that Gnosis Safe has an audited and well adopted protocol, I believe we can share this management power with the community as well to achieve a better transparency policy in DbookDAO.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:45]
Would you guys like to jump in? @MULTIKOLOUR @ryap12 @alenilyasoff ?

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:45]
and anyone within the community would be allowed to be a fund guardian

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:45]
We had some crazy experience when I conducted some training for them, lols

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:45]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, basically. But they’ll have to get doxxed first though.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:46]
nice and there is no minimum dbk requirement

Raymond (GMT +8), [22.05.21 22:46]
Hello guys! Nice to meet everyone here and looking forward for the new fund guardians later on.

Samuel, [22.05.21 22:46]
[In reply to Rigi — $DBK]
I believe this is first of kind in crypto, we acting based on the community vote to protect them and keep the integrity of the project

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:46]
hi fund guardians

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:47]
so you guys protect the safe

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:48]
how was rigi’s training regime? hope he didnt work you too hard 😂

Raymond (GMT +8), [22.05.21 22:48]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yes. We make sure funds are protected and 24/7 safe.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:49]
Also, another requirement for fund guardians will need to be proficient in using the GnosisSafe interface. I’ll host some training in the near future for new fund guardians as well after our IDO.

We have to reject some fund guardians earlier on because of the lack of knowledge. And, we cannot risk the funds in that scenario. So, that’s really important as well, aside from getting doxxed.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:50]
Don;t worry, the training will be fun people! No whips and lectures, hands-on, on the testnet first, lol.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:50]
aww some might like that!!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:50]
Right, moving on to your token $DBK

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:50]
Yea, so, we can afford mistakes, and let the fund guardians know what they’re approving and so on!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:51]
As i understand staking will be a major part of the tokens usage

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:51]
Can you tell everyone how the staking will work and when it should be up and running

Alen I (UTC+5), [22.05.21 22:52]
Всем привет, я защищаю фонд с российской стороны)

Alen I (UTC+5), [22.05.21 22:52]
[In reply to Alen I (UTC+5)]
Translate

To English, [22.05.21 22:52]
Hello everyone, I am defending the fund from the Russian side)

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:53]
Hi Alen lol

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:53]
Glad to have you here

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:54]
[In reply to Alen I (UTC+5)]
Yea sure!

We’ve actually allowed about 300 community members to test out our protocol, specifically the staking segment.

It’s still running now on our site, so, if anyone wish to test it out, we’ll be running it until the audit is completed in the near future!

As I mentioned earlier, we’re not going to let any unaudited codes to be used. So, the staking will happen later when our audit is completed.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:55]
And could you explain the incentives for staking

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:55]
i believe it is somewhat different than other platforms

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:58]
In any case, the staking works differently as compared to others as well.

The main purpose of our staking contract is for profit distribution, on a weekly basis.

So, the staking pool is designed to run for 7 days. Every week, we’ll be depositing portions of the profit into the staking pool, and $DBK holders can stake their $DBK for a minimum of 24 hours to claim for their profits.

For every 24 hours clocked in the staking period, the rewards will multiply, and so, if you’ve staked for a maximum of 5 days, you’ll get up to 16x of the rewards, as compared to staking for only 24 hours.

The unfortunate part is, $DBK will need to be unstaked first, before being allowed to restake in future pools.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 22:59]
so the yield as it were would be linked to the operations profits

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:59]
We’ll be opening different staking pools for other users as well. Maybe to incentivise liquidity providing, or other contributions that might be beneficial for DbookDAO. It’ll be situational.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 22:59]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, thats right. Up to 70% of all profits will be distributed to the community this way!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:00]
nice, now in order to do this we mentioned earlier that the main operation will be the casino based games

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:00]
could you talk a little about the games

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:01]
i believe you have 2 operational ones at the moment

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:01]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yes that’s right. We’ve put up 2 games for testing! It’s open for the community as well, with free credits! The games are Baccarat and Dice!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:02]
we can put the links to the games at the end of the ama plus they are in pinned messages for anyone to try out

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:02]
so these are just telegram based, or other platforms

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:03]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
At this moment, we’re just doing them on Telegram. But we’re open to other platforms as well in future! I think Discord might be great as well, but it might be a little controlled in Discord as compared to Telegram.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:03]
Can I share some features with the community?

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:03]
of course go ahead!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:04]
i’d be disappointed if you didn’t 😂😂

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:06]
Because many people has asked, how does it really work with Telegram, like how do you deposit, withdraw or even create an account.

We made everything really simple, basically cancelled that ‘sign up’ portion. Your Telegram account will be your account with us 😊

Also, we’ll be supporting USDT from ERC20, BEP20 and TRC20 in our operations to reduce transaction cost.

Each ‘account’, will be allocated unique addresses to perform the deposits, so, there will not be any confusions or miscommunications/disputes arising from deposits.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:07]
The withdrawal part will be done centrally at the start from a few hot wallets, so as to ensure a smooth and fast withdrawal, unlike other platforms that might need 24 hours or so.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:07]
no registration sounds quick and easy, plus no data captured so it remains anonymous

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:07]
so privacy is protected

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:08]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, actually the benefit of our games are mainly: Privacy and convenience.

We’re definitely going to lose out when it comes to playing experience, but, we make it up for easy and simple playing processes. No web browsers as well, and no long loading times, lol.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:09]
Of course, privacy. No emails, no IP

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:09]
so would i right in saying that this would be beneficial to jurasdictions where gambling may be illegal

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:10]
through traditional platforms

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:11]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Well, I guess you can say so. I mean, this is meant to be an enjoyment for all, and we don’t really believe in restrictions, especially the ones restricted because of where they are residing in.

We don’t want to know who you are, where you’re from, and we want you to enjoy our games, that’s it.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:11]
so by being truly decentralised and privacy driven it would open up these types of games to potentially new markets

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:13]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea. You’re right Jimmy. One reason why we built this on Telegram is for this purpose as well. Accessible to anyone, unlike some sites where it’s blocked in different countries.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:13]
speaking of markets, who do you see this being aimed at, just the crypto community or have you targeted the traditional casino crowd too

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:16]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, initially we wanted it to be decentralized in a way that, it’ll be accessible to only crypto community.

But after doing some research, I realised that the revenue in decentralized casino loses out as compared to the traditional online casino. So, we made some adjustments in the early stage, and created some functionality which would allow us to bring in non-crypto users as well, to enjoy the convenience and privacy offered by us in Dbook!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:16]
so you are hoping to capture both sides of the market

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:17]
thats a huge market
Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:18]
Yea of course. I believe that online casino business should benefit from decentralization. Of course, it’s stopping the users from using decentralized casinos because of the steep learning curve required in learning how to use a wallet, and learning about cryptocurrency.

but yea, I think Dbook can be the bridge to bringing decentralization to non-crypto users as well! Letting them know what they’re missing out on!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:19]
yea i can see this appealing to both crowds!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:19]
[ Photo ]

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:20]
I believe some of you guys know about Wink, it’s a sportsbook and casino on Tron.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:20]
those are some big numbers

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:20]
even a small portion would be very profitable

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:20]
So, here, we can see the vast difference in revenues of traditional and decentralised casinos

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:21]
Wink is fairly established in its own right as well, but well, we’re still early in crypto.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:21]
yes i can only see adoption becoming larger and larger

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:21]
Yup, and Dbook will bring it to them, lol

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:22]
now, with the recent market activity and volatility how do you see your token being able to fare during these uncertain times

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:23]
Well, I think $DBK brings another dimension as compared to most other cryptocurrencies out there.

We’re focused on our business operation, and the performance of our business will directly influence the value of our $DBK, aside from speculation on the market.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:25]
As I mentioned earlier, the profit incurred from our operations will be distributed via staking $DBK. I hope this would form a price discovery in $DBK once our operation matures and achieves consistency

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:25]
yes i can see as its essentially a profit driven business the token value could act similar to shares and be more performance driven rather than speculative

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:25]
essentially you could say the token may end up becoming Market proof…..in a sense

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:27]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Well, the market is still decided the traders. But I think with the operations as a strong foundation of Dbook, we’ll be able to survive the crazy falls with the merit of our running operation.

During bear market, it becomes difficult for people to want to get into altcoins, but, perhaps $DBK can give them a reason to enter

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:27]
absolutely, it has a strong use case compared to many other coins!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:27]
Thank!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:27]
now to finish off as we have taken a lot of these lovely peoples time

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:28]
Oh yea, sorry for that. I’m having some network issues earlier, so the messages take much longer to come out!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:28]
could you give an example to quantify potential returns on investment from the dbk token

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:28]
haha its ok, im sure all the info has been very interesting and informative for many!!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:29]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Hmm alright.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:29]
these would be based on projections obviously but as a rough estimate maybe?

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:29]
Honestly, I don’t have this in any official documents of Dbook. But before we started, I had to check out and understand the entire market and needs for the sportsbook/casino sector.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:30]
Let me dig out that research for a bit.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:30]
great!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:32]
Alright. I was talking about the China and India market previously, so let me link with that.

Even though India and China have very strict online gambling restrictions, it was reported that they have a combined annual spending of around $200 billion a year when it comes to online gambling still, despite the restrictions.

So, in the way that we’re positioned at Dbook, let’s say we enter the India and China market and allows users there to use Dbook for their activities.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:34]
Let’s be conservative here, and say, we manage to acquire 0.1% of the market, making it $200 million for us in a year.

And let’s be very conservative again, in considering an average of 2% house edge, which will represent our profits. Making it $4 million in profits a year.

70% to be distributed to the community, making it $2.8 million.

And that’s in a year.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:34]
wow

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:34]
thats a lot for such a small share of only 2 markets

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:34]
Yea, and now you guys know why I want to do this

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:35]
do you have any figures for those numbers filtering down to people staking?

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:35]
again this is all speculative and based on potential figures

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:38]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Hmm, ok, let me run some numbers here then.

We should have around 300k-400k $DBK in circulation over the first year, including the allocations for IDO. Let’s say 400k $DBK.

So, $2.8million / 400k should bring about $7 for each $DBK staked in a year.

Of course, some $DBK holders are going to ‘forget’ holding $DBK, which means, each $DBK can potentially get a bigger piece of the pie when it comes to profit distribution.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:39]
And, take note though, that’s not capital gains. Just profit distribution, or you call it dividend, from staking $DBK

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:39]
that’s potentially a great return on investment, and doesnt even take into account the gains the token may make along the way!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:40]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea of course. Like you mentioned, it’s all potential figures. We could do better, we could do worse. But I’m being very pragmatic and not overselling this.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:40]
All great stuff and very appealing to potential token holders!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:40]
now i think we have covered most areas, really there is so much there we could go on all day but we wont want to bore everyone!!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:41]
shall we go to questions?

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:41]
I’ll be around, so everyone can feel free to ask anything, even after this AMA. 😂

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:41]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Sure Jimmy.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:41]
awesome

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:41]
let me get the first we have chosen

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:41]
Question to Rigi — what is your long term vision for DBK and why should I start supporting you now? @olegguja

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:45]
Despite the numbers I’ve shown everyone earlier about the online casino industry, the real motivation for me to do this, is actually on the charity segment that we want to do later. However, without the money, we can’t be helping others as much as I wish. And so, for me to reach my objective, I need to make sure $DBK goes well and performs as it should consistently in all aspects. Only then, will Dbook be able to do its part in giving back to society.

Also, imagine how great this thing can be if we prove that a business can be operated in a decentralized manner. And perhaps we can do this for other profitable businesses as well in the future. But more importantly, it shows that businesses can be conducted with transparency, which will prevent more disasters when it comes to investor’s benefit and market performance.

And of course, to change the online gaming and prediction platform landscape. Allowing to be more inclusive even for those who’re unfamiliar with cryptocurrency and the decentralized space yet.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:45]
great answer

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:45]
ok so the next one

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:45]
So basically, if you support me now @olegguja , I’ll be helping you, so, I can commit more into benefit for the society 😊

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:46]
philanthropist too :)

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:46]
Can you tell us what type of partnerships you are looking for (not names, but type of organizations)? For example, is it an idea to partner with large casinos or online gambling sites to gain more exposure? @Diedbauw

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:46]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
interesting thought

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:47]
put you on the spot there haha

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:47]
I think we’ll be in direct competition with the large casinos and existing online casinos. So, it’ll not be in either party’s best interest for a partnership imo.

However, the type of partnerships that we should be doing is the ones that directly benefit our $DBK holders, operations, and players which will contribute to our revenue. We’ll run Dbook like a business, and everything will be about the ‘win’.

I believe most here would be interested in staking or even getting more $DBK in the near future, in order to claim for more profits once we’re in operations and in profit status. So, that’ll be some sort of initial partnership that we’ll look at in the near future.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:48]
sounds like you thought these kinds of things through already!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:49]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
yea, the great thing about defi these days, is that the partnership that helps one another. It saves us plenty of work in the development, with the creations from Gnosis Safe, which now powers our Treasury in DbookDAO

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:49]
So, partnership ✅

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:49]
great

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:50]
ok so one last question then we will throw it out to the ppl here

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:50]
How important is the DAO part over the revenue generation part of Dbook? @Ankur0991

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:50]
I thought he asked enough questions the last few days already? Lol

Alright, I’ll answer this one as well

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:51]
haha i didnt see the name!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:51]
he should be on a game show as a quiz master

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:51]
Alright, but that’s a good one

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:52]
I wouldn’t want to place a difference in importance for the DAO and revenue generation. The relationship is a symbiotic one. Without DbookDAO and the community, I’m sure that our revenue will be affected in a way or another.

And of course, without the support of DbookDAO, the team wouldn’t know what the general public really wants. I mean, before we started on this IDO journey, I’ve constantly thrown out polls on the community groups to gauge a response on some decisions or proposals. Some we’ve scrapped, some we’ve gone ahead and received some surprise support.

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:53]
The revenue generation part is very important as well. If we’re not going to make money, who’d really want to be here? The passion needs to be sustainable for every CM and community member here, lol.

So I wouldn’t place any added importance on either, in fact, the community and the revenue generation will be the 2 most important factors that can make or break Dbook.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:53]
I think its a great idea to mesh the business side with the community driven side, can see that mix making a great combination

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:53]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, we remove the pressure of making a decision by seeing how others feel about it.

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:54]
effectively you will part own the business and have a say in how its run!

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:54]
so, it gives us, or at least me, the assurance sometimes

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:54]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]
Yea, that’s the idea of DbookDAO and $DBK holders!

JimmyRinse, [22.05.21 23:55]
awesome, you have taken everything that been thrown at you like a champ

Rigi — $DBK, [22.05.21 23:55]

Rigi — $DBK, [23.05.21 00:02]
[In reply to Raffaele Dadone]
Alright. We’re actually still upgrading the bot this moment. We’ll need to do some internal testing first before getting it out and ready for revenue.

I’d say we can plan for early July to be the start.

JimmyRinse, [23.05.21 00:02]
please feel free to ask :)

Rigi — $DBK, [23.05.21 00:03]
[In reply to JimmyRinse]

😂 I have questions mannn

A Al, [23.05.21 00:00]
Say there are no profits for a monthly period, what would be the protocol then for stakers?

Liana 🍀, [23.05.21 00:06]
who’s excited for the IDO?🤸

JimmyRinse, [23.05.21 00:06]
[In reply to Liana 🍀]
we have a gate crasher lol

Rigi — $DBK, [23.05.21 00:07]
[In reply to A Al]
Well, I won’t expect huge profit distribution in the early days of our operation. I mean, I don’t really want to distribute a few $1000 and you guys will probably pay more to stake and unstake than the rewards allocated.

So, we’ll continue the testnet implementation for a while until after our audit is completed by Solidity.finance. So, you guys can actually try out the staking protocol and be familiarised with it using testnet.

Also, we have some farming planned for everyone! But we’ll probably start it after a portion of the community has received a respectable amount of $DBK after the vesting! We’ll announce those soon!

Rigi — $DBK, [23.05.21 00:07]
2 questions here right? lol

JimmyRinse, [23.05.21 00:07]
yes

JimmyRinse, [23.05.21 00:07]

JimmyRinse, [23.05.21 00:08]
